Repeat pulling a vacuum and pressurizing the system until only 2016-10-06 May 2013. OK, so detach the cable from the crown, just need to undo a little grub screw. Then turn the dial on the crown to the locked out position, let go, if it springs back and returns fine then the fork is fine and the problem is with the remote/cable, most likely dirt/grime. If it's setup for a remote lockout you can turn it by hand but it will snap back to the open position (meaning it has the return spring inside). You will also see it has a cable groove on the knob and a little allen bolt to secure the remote lockout cable. My remote lockout on my RockShox Reba 29'er fork is turning in to a real pain for me at the moment. My LBS had a look at it and replaced the cable and said "it's the internals" which I presume translates as "don't ask me I don't know air forks." When I press the lever to unlock the fork it works ok. RockShox PopLoc sprint remote lever is time-saving ergonomically superior handlebar-mounted remote.

If there is a tech manual for this can someone direct me to it. Where does the shifter cable anchor sit? I'm guessing inside one of the cylinders on either bottom end of the switch, but then when you move the lever, how is the cable supposed to activate the forl lockout knob if it's not bolted to the switch?
